IT Support Coordinator – Windows, SQL
Our client, an innovative travel technology company based on Cheshire are looking for an IT Support coordinator to drive its deployment of best-of-breed solutions that set new standards in today’s application-rich, highly mobile world of travel.
As the IT Support Coordinator, you will provide telephone and email support to our in-house developed corporate booking tool, which will involve troubleshooting/fixing problems, and raise development logs for issues confirmed as bugs, detailing steps to recreate the problem. You will give timely and courteous support to customers, and manage logs that have been passed to other teams. You will regularly test and replicate bugs and look for ways to reduce log intake. You will work with both in house and third party suppliers to solve customer issues.
To be considered you must have:
Proven experience working in a technical support role, preferably with a web system
Exposure to Windows and Windows based desktop applications
Experience with different web browsers
Experience with SQL
It would be advantageous to also have:
Experience in Linux beneficial
Knowledge of the Travel Industry, in particular Corporate Travel
Experience with a GDS system (e.g. Sabre, Grobleo, Amadeus)
